What kind of data is collected?

Business contact form - for this purpose, there is a form on our website through which website users can request a business contact. In this case, users provide some personal data via the form, such as: name, professional e-mail address, company where they work. This information is received, stored for a period of 12 months and processed solely and exclusively for the purposes indicated.

When you register and/or submit personal data to OnGlobal, we will use it in the manner described in this Privacy Policy. Your personal information will not be used for other purposes unless we obtain your authorisation or unless required or permitted by law or professional rules.

Use of cookies

‘Cookies’ are small text files that are stored on access devices via the browser, retaining only information related to preferences and therefore not including personal data. They are used to help determine the usefulness, interest and number of uses of websites, enabling faster and more efficient browsing by eliminating the need to repeatedly enter the same information.

Cookies on the OnGlobal website have numerous functions, such as allowing you to navigate between pages efficiently, storing your preferences and improving your experience when you visit the site. EU Directive 2009/136/EC states that we may store cookies on your device if they are essential for the operation of this website, but for all others we need your permission. The Onglobal website may use some non-essential cookies. We do not use them to track individual users or to identify them, but only to gain a better understanding of how the sites are used so that we can continue to improve them for our users. Without the knowledge we obtain through these cookies we would not be able to provide the service we do.

The types of cookies we use:

If you decide to set the language, font size or specific version of the website (e.g. high contrast), we use user interface personalisation cookies. Once set, you do not need to specify your preferences again on another visit to the site.

If you use parts of the site that require registration to access content, we will place an authentication cookie on your device. This allows you to leave and return to these parts of the site without having to log in again.

If you have Adobe Flash installed on your computer (most computers do) and use video players, we store a ‘flash cookie’ on your computer. These cookies are used to store the data needed to play video or audio content and store user preferences.

Onglobal likes to understand how visitors use our site by using web analytics services. These count the number of visitors and generate data on visitor behaviour in general - such as identifying the search engine keywords that led the user to the site, the typical length of stay on the site or the average number of pages a user views. For this purpose, we place a first-party analytics cookie on your computer.

We may also use services such as Google Analytics to track web statistics. In this case, Google will place a ‘third-party cookie’ on your computer. This is also the case when we use Google Maps.

If you do not wish to receive cookies, you can modify your search engine so that it notifies you when cookies are sent to it, or you can refuse cookies altogether. You can also delete cookies that have already been set.

If you want to limit or block the search engine cookies that are set on your device, you can do so via your search engine settings; the ‘Help’ function in your search engine should tell you how.

Alternatively, you can visit www.aboutcookies.org, where you will find full information on how to control cookies on a wide variety of computer search engines.
